Hello, I’m Natalie Turner—author, TEDx speaker, and passionate explorer of what it means to live with purpose, creativity, and courage.
The Red Silk Dress is my debut novel, inspired by years of living in Southeast Asia and Europe. It weaves together themes close to my heart: identity, cultural connection, and the quiet strength it takes to follow one’s inner voice.
As someone who has worked at the intersection of leadership, innovation, and personal growth, I’ve always believed that stories have the power to awaken us—to help us see ourselves and each other more clearly.
Whether through fiction, through my award-winning non-fiction book Yes, You Can Innovate, or the work I do with people and organisations, I’m driven by a desire to spark reflection, transformation, and deeper human connection.

The Red Silk Dress
From the mystical temples of Angkor Wat to the glittering expat communities of Malaysia and the timeless elegance of Paris, The Red Silk Dress unfolds a story of secrets, longing, and transformation.
Claudette, a French expat trapped in a loveless marriage, is captivated by Som—a charismatic Cambodian whose passion for his homeland awakens desires she thought were lost. Balancing motherhood and fading dreams, she’s haunted by echoes from her past and drawn toward yearnings she can no longer ignore.
Torn between duty and the seductive pull of an awakening that promises both freedom and loss, Claudette must confront loyalty, love, and self—or risk losing the chance to design the life she truly wants.
My debut is an evocative exploration of second chances, the risks of following one’s heart, and the secrets we keep—even from ourselves. For everyone yearning to reclaim their identity, this unforgettable journey will linger long after the final page.
